What a show to end up on Zoom. We started the design process for THE WOLVES at the beginning of January 2020, before we were even aware of COVID-19. I was incredibly ecstatic and honored to have the opportunity to be the lead scenic designer on a MainStage production, and when the world shut down in March, we assumed we would still get to see it on the main stage in October. I got as far as a rough color model by May, and was ready to start drafting in July when I found out we would be staying online. Translating this show online was incredibly difficult due to the physical demands of the actors, and we ultimately learned a lot about Zoom theatre that would be applied to later productions in the 2020/2021 season.
