Since I worked in the scene shop already, our technical director, Justin Snyder, pulled me into the scenic practicum classes for a day each semester to lead and teach a painting demonstration and talk about what it's like to be a Charge Artist. When classes were in person, we went through the steps to create wood graining, and with classes online for COVID-19, I gave a presentation and led a discussion about scenic art.
