Getting to be the associate on my all-time favorite musical was such an amazing experience. The scenic design was actually based on most of my initial research! In addition to drafting the majority of the design, as well as assisting with translating them to shop drawings, I also drew all the drawings seen onstage. Our actor playing the lead character Alison couldn't draw, so I filled her prop notebook and drawing table with lightly-erased sketches that she drew over for every performance. On the other side of the process, I served as the assistant scenic charge again, completing all tech notes and even reupholstering the chaise lounge.
