Working with Tim as his assistant was a really rewarding experience. I was a part of design meetings from the very beginning, and I learned a lot seeing the entire process all the way through. In addition to drafting one of the three staircases, I took an active role in making the model box, which included soldering tiny staircases. Since I worked in the scene shop as the assistant scenic charge artist, I also served as the liaison between the design team and the shop.
